Wij zijn van 13 t/m 27 september in dit hotel geweest. We hebben genoten. Heel schoon, mooie ruime tuin en terras en je mocht overal je ligbed neerzetten. Kamers waren prima in orde. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt was prima. De weg naar het hotel is inderdaad stijl maar wij hebben direct een scooter gehuurd voor de hele vakantie. Heel veel lof over dit hotel waar wij zijn geweest van 20 tot 27 september 2010 en er volop hebben genoten van de schitterende omgeving.
Hotel was heel schoon met om de 2 dagen schone handdoeken en om de 3 dagen schoon beddegoed.Onbijt was prima met wit en bruin brood waar je ook nog brood kon roosteren met 3 soorten jam,kaas,3 soorten worst.
Verder was er ook beschuit,koffie,thee,jus de orange en veel vers fruit en cornflakes.
Ik denk dat de meeste mensen dat thuis niet hebben.
Hebben zelf auto gehuurd dus hadden geen last van het klimmetje naar boven maar is te voet goed te doen.
Kamer was heel schoon en netjes wat elke dag goed werd bijgehouden.
Geen betonnen meubelen wat bert en ans schrijven maar een leuk tuinstelletje op het balkon.
Hotel is heel mooi en goed onderhouden met vriendelijk personeel en eigenaar.
Minpuntje is dat er geen koelkast is maar deze is wel te huur.
Gaan zeker nog eens terug naar dit hotel wat zeker niet de hoofdprijs vraagt voor wat er geboden word.

Wij zijn in sept. 8 dagen in dit hotel geweest en wij vinden het een zeer prettig hotel!! Aardig personeel die altijd in zijn voor een praatje en advies, iedere dag schone handdoeken. Oké dat van die bedden is wel een beetje waar maar toch slapen ze echt niet slecht.(en ik ben een slechte slaper wat een vreemd bed betreft) Wij kregen ook meteen extra kusens toen wij daarom vroegen. Ontbijt is simpel maar wel goed te doen, Griekenland heeft nooit een luxe ontbijt. Lekker verse meloen iedere morgen. Prachtige lokatie, ja, wel heuveltje op en als je slecht ter been bent kan dat problemen geven maar dan moet je hier gewoon niet heen. Wij vonden het klimmetje iedere dag wel prettig, en het zwembad en de tuin zijn echt heel relaxt. Ik kwam heerlijk tot rust omdat het hotel ook buiten het centrum ligt. S'nachts hadden wij wel wat last van het verkeer van de drukke weg omdat wij een kamer aan die kant hadden maar ach, ik woon thuis ook aan een drukke weg.

wat een lof over dit hotel, wij snappen niet wat je dan gewend bent. (we hebben zelf de lat ook niet hoog liggen maar dit slaat alles)
voorbeeld, je slaapt op een gemetselde bak beton met daarop 2 matrassen die ongeveer 30 cm te klein zijn hiervoor, het meubelair is van gegoten beton (type bajes uit tv serie's niet dat ik uit ervaring spreek haha)
als je overdag of in de avond naar je kamer wil wordt soms het licht aan gedaan van de hal, zoniet moet je maar zien hoe je de sleutel in het slot krijgt. onbijt is dus toast met kaas en of jam verder echt niks personeel lijkt op zijn eind te lopen alsmede het budget van het hotel de armoede straalt er vanaf,
onze deur naar het balkon is niet af te sluiten, krijg je als antwoord; er gebeuren hier geen gekke dingen?! de werkster met 1000 dingen doekje laat hem ook iedere dag gewoon open staan (wij doen hem nu dicht met een touw, wordt dus niet gemaakt)
schone handdoek is ook schijn, deze worden wel opgevouwen en terug op het rek gelegd, nadat wij ze op de grond hadden geplaatst
(in ieder hotel betekent dat toch dat je schone wenst maar ja het budget he)
advies boek voor de hoofdprijs een ander hotel, hier ben je namelijk nog 6,-- p/dag voor airco en 4,-- voor een koelkast kwijt, kijk nog maar eens goed rond voor je hier voor kiest.
de 8 is het zeker niet waard

Wij zijn van 22 mei tot 1 juni in dit hotel geweest, een echte aanrader! Vriendelijk personeel, schitterende locatie (wel heuveltje op), schoon hotel en het ontbijt is prima! Enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken is het feit dat de wc zo dicht tegen het ligbad staat dat je er niet normaal op kan zitten. Maar gelukkig kun je beneden ook naar de ' openbare' toiletten gaan voor de lange mensen onder ons;)
Gouvia is een heerlijk klein, levendig en knus stadje waar ontzettend veel restaurants te vinden zijn. Wij hebben een auto gehuurd en het eiland verkend, dat zou ik ook zeker aanraden aangezien Gouvia niet zo groot is.

Sinds zondag terug van twee weekjes Corfoe. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad op het eiland. Het hotel was prima. De kamers zijn zeer schoon net zoals de rest van het hotel. Het ontbijt was simpel maar nog altijd uitgebreider dan thuis. Heerlijke vertoeven aan het rustige zwembad, met 1 keer per uur het gebalk van de huisezel op de achtergrond. De ligbedjes bij het zwembad zorgen ook voor het nodige plezier daar ze heerlijk liggen is het wel van belang dat je in het midden ligt. Aan de bar was het iedere avond opnieuw gezellig. Hier werd de dag doorgenomen met gezellige andere gasten (hé Geert....), een heerlijke koude Mythos en een gezellige bardame. we zijn gistermiddag weer thuis gekomen .wat een leuk hotel ... en uitstekend personeel .. heel vriendelijk, schoon, en ze kunnen hun talen ,ja een aanrader .. mooi zwembad,waar ik(geert) en onze zoon(jaap) om half negen al in lagen om leker van de kant te springen en daarna ging jaap 20 x het bad op en neer,en moeder (thea)lag /zat lekker aan de kant te lezen en sponger er dan later ook in

We zijn 10aug. weer teruggekomen. Wat een heerlijk hotel! Het was schoon en werd elke dag grondig schoongemaakt. 3x p.w. schone handdoeken en 2x p.w. bedlinnen. Ook fijn zijn de 'shutters' voor de glazen deur, houdt de warmte en de zon tegen. Het zwembad met de ligbedjes is ook heerlijk relaxed. Personeel is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Je staat binnen 10 minuten in Gouvia zelf, maar ook Corfu-stad is prima aan te fietsen o.i.d. Een tip waar je echt verrukkelijk kan eten voor een goede prijs (in Gouvia) is 9 Muses. Een prima service en eten om je tong bij af te likken: allemaal verse produkten. Ook de Italiaan Aglio e Olio is heerlijk. Ietsje duurder (voor Nederlandse begrippen nog goedkoop hoor!) en alles vers en heerlijk.

Van 01 t/m 08 juni waren wij hier te gast. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Airco kan zelfs 's nachts nog aangevraagd worden (6 euro p/dag). Ontbijt eenvoudig maar lekker, kuipjes jam/kaas /ham. Alles zeer schoon, het schitterende zwembad is zo'n 20 meter lang. Veel ligstoelen, gras en palmbomen. Mooi uitzicht daarvandaan op de baai van Gouvia. Ligt op een heuvel, redelijk stijl klimmetje vanaf het dorp naar het hotel. In 10 minuten ben je in het centrum van Gouvia. Heel goed restaurant is Vergina, de eigenaar danst met iedereen die mee wil doen. Met twee personen ben je max 30 euro kwijt. Grillhouse Athene, neem de Pitta Burger, 2.50. Autohuur A-klasse 47,50/Eilandtour is schitterend. Mini-cruise naar Paxos-Anti=paxos Doen!!

Wij zijn van 30 mei t/m 6 juni in hotel Paradise geweest en het is ons uitstekend bevallen. Op internet hadden we van te voren ook wat negatieve berichten zien staan, dus we waren op alles voorbereid, maar waren heel erg tevreden.
Omdat het hotel op een heuvel ligt moet je wel goed ter been zijn, maar juist door die heuvel heb je echt een fantastisch uitzicht. Vanaf ons balkon kon je Corfu-stad zien liggen.
Wij hadden de hotelkamer met een 2 persoonsbed en een badkamer met ligbad. Deze kamer was ruim en alles was netjes en schoon. Het zwembad was perfect en het personeel was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom echt een aanrader! ...Lees meer | |
